Yes you'll need to work hard, but as we all know, working in a care environment is demanding and you have to be forward thinking and genuinely kind and caring to ensure you always do the very best for the people we are caring for. They offer great incentives to their teams, not just management - for example there is an employee share scheme, Celebrating Success and other great perks such as a benefits package. Care is always at the forefront of the business and this is not compromised.
We’ll then review things thoroughly – please email us, in confidence, at find Barchester, from the Director's down to be great. We’d really appreciate getting more details about your concerns over the levels of care and support where you were working. We do need to make a profit, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to invest in our services and staff, but we’re certainly not an organisation that puts profit over people. JDelivering exceptional person-centred care and support is always our focus – and always will be.
The pay is higher than the competitors in the local area, training is extremely good, and there lots of opportunities for career prospects and promotion. The food is extremely good with special diets or request catered for without hesitation. The residents are extremely well cared for and shown love and affection. Having worked in Hunters Cate Centre for the last 10 years I have to say that it’s a fabulous, friendly environment to work in, from the management down to the kitchen assistant everyone is helpful.
